How to use BeeZeeB Food Wraps
Use warmth of your hands to mold the cloth. It easily bends and wraps around any food. It also replaces the lid of food containers.
Wrap half of a lemon, your favourite cheese, lettuce from the garden, fresh bread or a birthday present. You can fold it into different origami shapes like a nut box or sandwich pocket to take to work or on your next trip. The possibilities are endless.
You can choose between different sizes.
The wrap softens under the warmth of the hands and becomes flexible. It adapts easily to the shape of any food you wish to wrap. Tightly wraped food does not take extra space in the refrigirator, freezer or travel bag.
Bees wax is natural preservativ and spruce resin has natural antibacterial effect, which extended freshnes of your food. Bread, cheese, letuce, fresh herbs, all fruits and vegetables will stay fresher longer. BeeZeeB waxedcloths also perform great when wrapping food in the freezer.
Use evironmentaly friendly waxed cloths to cover bowls, plates or glasses. Cover the bowl with bread dough, plate with food for guests or glass with your favorite beverage.
Take the wraps with you while shopping. You can wrap bread, cheese and other food directly on site and avoid using extra packaging.
After use gently wash the wrap with lukewarm water. You may use a drop of mild natural detergent. Wipe dry and store for the next use.
For additional disinfection, you can pour vinegar over the cloth or spray it with an alcohol disinfectant. Allow the product to work for a while, rinse the cloth under running water, wipe and dry.
You can use the cloth for a year or even longer. When it seems no longer suitable for use, you can dispose it in the composte pile or make a torch for your garden party.
The wrap will serve you longer if you occasionally roll it between two sheets of baking paper.
You can extend durability and usefulness of the cloth with occasional maintenance.
When cracks appear on the cloth, I recommend the following procedure: place the cloth on a sheet of baking paper and heat it with warm air of the hair dryer. Cover with another sheet of baking paper and rub over it. Lightly melted and softened wax fills wrinkles and creases. Rubbing unifies the wax structure and makes it more flexible.
Even when you decide to throw away the cloth after a year or more, you can do it in a useful and fun way. Cut the cloth into strips and use them to light up a picnic fire. You can also make a torch by wraping the straps tightly around a long wooden stick.
